Kimi's toddler bashing row

Not long after creating a stir with the photographer incident at Silverstone, world champion Kimi Raikkonen has once again found himself in the media's glare for all the wrong reasons.

A new video clip, depicting the Ferrari driver in the Hockenheim paddock, shows him trying to avoid a woman's determined autograph folder, that had been thrust forcefully in his path - only to accidentally knock a toddler to the ground.

The Swiss newspaper Blick unkindly pointed out that the Finn, who is 28, "did not even apologise" as he hurriedly walked on.

But it must also be noted that the woman similarly ignored the screaming toddler, before Raikkonen turned to her - presumably to advise that her child needed a hug from her mother more than a F1 driver's autograph.

I wouldn't have posted this ... but I so love the comment that I said wtf let's post it :) . A huge thx to all those who really see the truth behind the media coverage.

7/25/2008 2:39 PM DO me a favour.. really.. the journo's no how to make a story out of nothing. This video was doing the rounds on Monday.. This lady was so determined to get infront of a fast walking Kimi while at the same time dragging her kid by the hand that when Kimi bumped into coz she was now right infront of him that the kid got squashed between Kimi and the mom and the kid got knocked FLAT to the ground. It was all the moms fault. Kimi just kept walking as the kid lay crying and the mom persisted into trying to get Kimi to stop. She was harressing him. The kid got nailed. End of story

7/25/2008 2:28 PM Sounds like the paparazzi in America complaining when a a-list hollywood celeb drives over their foot... well if you weren't standing with your foot in front of the wheel... it would not have been driven over! People seem to forget that "celebrities" are people too and have lives and jobs to carry on with, give them some space...

7/25/2008 10:48 AM This is again a booo haaa about nothing! If the woman behaved like a caring mother should, nothing would have happened. These articles are becoming fairly annoying. Its just that some of the public are so sensitive, shame on them. Grow up you bunch of retards! Leave these people alone! They do have specific times when the drivers hands out autographs, go stand in the queue like the rest of us!
